FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know before your first class — from what to wear and what to bring, to pregnancy, postnatal and booking.

What should I wear?
Comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move freely in. Layers are best so you can adjust as you warm up and cool down. For Mum & Baby Fitness, supportive trainers are fine for the strength and mobility work.
Do I need to bring equipment?
If you would like to bring your own yoga mat you can, but I provide mats, blocks and straps. For Mum & Baby Fitness, just bring yourself, your baby, a bottle of water and anything your little one might need.
I'm new to yoga — can I come?
Absolutely. Classes are designed to include all levels, and options are offered throughout so you can work at your own pace. Come as you are; flexibility is not required.
Can I attend during pregnancy?
Pregnancy Yoga is open to those 12 weeks pregnant or further along. If you'd like to join a Vinyasa Flow class while pregnant, please get in touch beforehand and let me know how far along you are, so I can offer suitable modifications. Mum & Baby Fitness also welcomes pregnant ladies who feel ready to take part.
When can I join Mum & Baby Fitness?
You are welcome from six weeks postpartum, or once you have been cleared for exercise by your GP or midwife. The class is diastasis and pelvic-floor aware, and babies can play on the mats beside you while you move.
What if my baby cries during class?
It is completely normal. You are free to feed, change, soothe or cuddle your baby whenever you need to. Toys are provided, and parents remain responsible for supervising their child throughout the session.
Where are classes held?
Group classes take place in the studio space. 1:1 Physio-Yoga sessions are available at the studio or as a home visit.
Do you offer 1:1 sessions?
Yes. 1:1 Physio-Yoga combines a physiotherapy assessment with a bespoke movement plan. It is ideal for injury recovery, pelvic health, pregnancy, postnatal return to movement, or anyone wanting individual attention.
How do I book?
You can book and pay online through the pricing page. Choose a drop-in class or a 5/10 class pass, then select the class you want to attend.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the class starts where possible. Late cancellations may not be refundable. Drop-ins and class packs are non-transferable unless agreed in advance.
